The Small Business Wellbeing Program continues for tourism businesses

20 December 2023

The Small Business Partners in Wellbeing Program is funded by the Victorian Government and delivered by the Partners in Wellbeing team at EACH in partnership with VTIC.

The Victoria Tourism Industry Council (VTIC) was fortunate to be among the ten associations chosen for the PIW program two years ago, providing crucial support to the industry during a challenging period. Originally set to conclude in June of this year, VTIC’s advocacy efforts resulted in an extension of the program until June 2024.

What does the program offer?

The PIW Program funds a Mental Health & Wellbeing Clinician/Consultant who is embedded within the VTIC team. This Clinician provides:

  • Free and confidential direct personal support to VTIC members, their employees, and family members in relation to mental health and wellbeing concerns.
  • Referral for free financial counselling and business advice.
  • In person and online wellbeing and mental health related trainings and workshops for small businesses throughout Victoria.

The Partners in Wellbeing Program (PIW) is designed to support the mental health and wellbeing needs of our small business members, and in particular those in flood-affected regions. These regions have experienced adverse effects on numerous tourism business and their commercial activities.

Who is this available to?

The project will run until the end of June 2024. During this time, any small business owners, their staff, and their family members can access these services – it is free and confidential. Do share this with your team.

How can you access these services?

From Thursday 4 January 2024, you can access this service by contacting Adele Bergin:
