Businesses on the Peninsula are taking up the challenge to ditch single-use plastic with the help of Plastic Free Mornington Peninsula. Funded by the Mornington Peninsula Shire, this free program makes it easy for local food retailers to move away from providing plastic takeaway items such as cutlery, straws, containers and coffee cups and transition to reusables.
