With the 2023 program now open, we are taking the time to celebrate the winners from last year.
The Mornington Peninsula Business Excellence Awards recognise innovation, sustainability and excellence across businesses of all types. They are a chance to showcase the outstanding work of local businesses.
Here, we celebrate the winner of the Professional Services category, Prof Consulting Group.
Prof Consulting Group are a boutique food and grocery consultancy business that works locally and internationally across retailers, brand owners, food and agriculture or investors. They help clients access new markets, create innovation and improve their industry growth. Starting the business in 2019, they decided to make the Mornington Peninsula their business base as it was close to food businesses, their own home in Mount Eliza and the city and airport.
The judges chose the Prof Consulting Group as the category front runner for their innovative international business model, and integrated supply chain management system. They felt the business had created a unique position by achieving savings for their clients through strategic sourcing strategies, product innovation and market strategies.
We are able to build on the international experience of our team to help business owners understand how their brand or product offer helps consumers make better informed choices.

As such we have done many of the roles, faced many of the challenges or accessed the markets our clients ask for support in. The ability to help get them to their goal quicker driving increased profitability, securing jobs and helping them access new markets.
We are not traditional consultants but a team of well-seasoned internationally experienced senior retail executives that are focused on driving change.
We applied successfully for an Austrade Export Grant which enabled us to accelerate brand recognition in the UK, Europe & UAE where we have successfully gained key accounts. This allowed us to expand our portfolio of Associates and access to wider expertise such as Social Impact Leadership. We also were able to attend key international trade shows to bring the latest concepts or co-manufacturing capability to Australia to help our clients grow through innovation.

Being recognised as a winner in the recent awards brings further credibility and increased brand awareness of our business to the region. We hope this will enable us to help more local businesses benefit from our services and grow.

2022 Finalists – Professional Services Award
A huge congratulation also goes out to the other impressive finalists for this category, including Angela Allen-Mads Collective Group. The Group help service-based businesses in Australia and overseas to gain more high-ticket clients and generate more revenue, using conversion copywriting, Facebook and Instagram automation.
And finally Exclusive Property Management, specialists in property leasing, management and legislation education for short- and long-term rentals across the Mornington Peninsula.
