Business Victoria have pulled together a range of FREE short courses, online events and resources are provided by the state’s top education providers and industry experts to help you upskill and run your business better. Topics include starting a business, growing a business, risk and resilience, staff management, finance, sustainability, workplace wellbeing and more.

The Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry delivers more than 700 short courses, webinars, diplomas and certificates to Victorian businesses each year. Courses are designed by industry experts to enhance the skills of Victorian employees spanning all sectors, ensuring all businesses thrive and prosper. Note: most of these courses are free, however charges apply in some cases.

The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) hosts a series of free webinars to improve your knowledge about starting and running a business. These webinars are live, interactive online seminars presented by experienced tax officers. You can ask questions to help apply the information to your situation.

Essentials to strengthen your small business, is an online learning platform offering free short courses to help small-business owners navigate tax and superannuation obligations.

Discover thousands of video training courses on everything from how to learn new computer skills to building your resilience. LinkedIn Learning is offered FREE through Mornington Peninsula Shire Libraries. Log in using your library card barcode number and PIN to unlock your learning potential.

The Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC) offers a range of training opportunities for tourism businesses involved in, or interested in international tourism. Note: these courses are free for ATEC members, charges apply for non-members.

Typsy is a globally recognised company offering an exciting way for businesses to upskill staff in the new style of visitor economy – through video-style training.

All Victorian tourism, hospitality and events operators are invited to register for premium access Typsy online training programs through VTIC thanks to funding from the Federal and State governments.

As part of this program, new regional destination training content is being developed with a dedicated VTIC manager and will be a wonderful tool in supporting customer services skills and attracting new participants to our favourite industry:  Tourism, Events and Hospitality.
