Different recognition programs can help your business deliver continuous improvement, reflect on its successes and gain recognition amongst your peers. It can also give you a valuable marketing tool to attract and retain customers.

Depending on your type of business there are many different awards to explore. Bursary awards can help your business grow through education and further study, while traditional awards programs recognise the work you have already done.

Entry opening and closing dates vary, as does the level on information required for an application. There are many program around but here is a shortlist of some options. Choose one to suit your business needs.

The inaugural Wild Women in Business awards were held in March 2024.

The Awards Night is dedicated to recognising and applauding the remarkable achievements of the business women within the wider Mornington Peninsula community. The award honours their hard work, dedication and innovative spirit – it recognises the impact they have made in their respective fields.

Best Bites is a Mornington Peninsula Shire and Peninsula Health program recognising the most outstanding local food businesses in the areas of food safety, healthy eating, sustainability, reduction of tobacco/alcohol and access and inclusion. For a number of years this Best Bites program included a Food Award element. This has now been integrated into the Mornington Peninsula Business Excellence Awards.
