New Tourism Emissions Reduction Commitment Program

TERC is a nationwide program developed by the Australian Tourism Industry Council (ATIC) in collaboration with ERC Protocol and is supported by the Australian Government as it aims to drive sustainability within the tourism sector. VTIC will be a key player in delivering this program in Victoria as part of our Quality Tourism Sustainable Accreditation.

With over 150 Australian tourism businesses already on board, VTIC invites all tourism operators across Victoria to join the TERC program and help shape a sustainable future for the industry.

Key features of the TERC

• Emissions benchmarking: track your performance with clear benchmarks to identify progress and areas for improvement.
• Recognition & certification: receive a logo and QR code linked to your Climate Action Plan dashboard, making it easy to showcase your commitment to visitors.
