Need extra hands before summer? Free recruitment support for Mornington Peninsula businesses
01 September 2026
With the summer season approaching, many Peninsula businesses will be looking to grow their team. The Chisholm Skills and Jobs Centre offers free recruitment support to help local businesses meet their workforce needs.
The Centre is part of a statewide Victorian Government program that connects employers with qualified job seekers. Their free services include:
End to end recruitment of new staff
Screened candidates for graduate programs, internships, placements and work experience
Training options and pathway advice for upskilling your existing employees
The latest information on government incentives, employment trends and in demand skills
Businesses can advertise job vacancies through the Skills and Jobs Centre. Once you get in touch, they will stay in contact regarding any applications received. If no applications come through, they will still let you know and ask about your next steps.
They also work closely with Jobs Victoria, local councils, and state and federal government departments to support workforce projects across Melbourne’s south east.
