This project is an initiate of the Food Economy and Agroecology Taskforce which has identified that access to equipment is a significant barrier for new and small-scale farmers. This project will evaluate the level of interest from farmers in establishing a farm equipment sharing program that would facilitate farmer to farmer sharing or low-cost renting of tools and equipment.
We are calling on farmers who either have equipment you’d be willing to share, and/or are yourself interested in accessing tools and equipment to fill out this survey so that we can assess the level of interest and possible pathways to establishing the program.
