Join the TASTE STAY PLAY Tourism Campaign

On behalf of the Mornington Peninsula Shire’s Tourism and Destination Events Team’s, you are invited to join the Taste, Stay Play Tourism Campaign aligned with the upcoming Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience being held at The Briars later this year.

Don’t miss your chance to be involved

This is a fantastic opportunity to boost tourism in our region and inspire both visitors and locals to explore more of the Mornington Peninsula.

We want to entice visitors to extend their stay by providing them with a one stop resource to discover all our beautiful region has to offer.

The campaign will be shared with both existing and new ticket holders and promoted through social media and digital channels, ensuring maximum exposure of participating businesses to a global audience.

Why participate?

The experience and the accompanying tourism campaign span two school holidays and coincides with the off-peak season, presenting an opportunity to address seasonality challenges. By joining the campaign, local businesses can collectively benefit from the widespread appeal of the experience.

How you can be involved

We are inviting ALL Mornington Peninsula tourism businesses to join us in this campaign.

Participation options are flexible – you can offer exclusive Wizardry themed deals, packages, or more traditional offerings such as 2-for-1 deals, discounts, or simply being listed as an official part of the campaign.

For an added touch of magic, you may also consider participating in a wizardry quest across the Peninsula. Imagine a scavenger hunt where businesses become waypoints in a magical journey, encouraging visitors to explore further, businesses interested in being included in the quest would need to provide a special offer.

Participation in the campaign is free; we simply request active promotion on your social media platforms and newsletters, as well as participation in a post-event survey to assess the impact of the event to your business and the local economy.

Note: To ensure the success of this campaign and to comply with copyright regulations, we kindly ask businesses to avoid incorporating any Harry Potter branded elements and names referenced throughout the movies into your offerings.

To be part of the Taste Stay Play Tourism Campaign, simply complete the Expression of Interest  (EOI) form by Friday 15 March, 2024.
