The First Nations Tourism Mentoring Program is a new, free program for First Nations tourism businesses across Australia, matching businesses with skilled and experienced mentors.
We can support First Nations tourism businesses to grow and achieve their goals by connecting them with expert advice, tailored learning, and access to culturally respectful industry specialists.
Mentoring with the FNTMP is a great way to support your local community and the wider First Nations tourism industry.
As a mentor, you will have an opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise and actively contribute to the growth and sustainability of the First Nations tourism sector.
Applications are now opened to deliver mentoring across Australia.
Applications will close at 11:59pm (Australian Eastern Standard Time) on Tuesday 11 April 2023 (extended to Friday 28 April 2023).

This is a formal mentoring program where mentors are remunerated for their work.
Applications are now open for First Nations tourism businesses across Australia to access free mentoring support through the FNTMP.
The FNTMP can support you to grow your tourism business by connecting you with expert advice, tailored learning and access to culturally respectful industry specialists.
Eligible First Nations tourism businesses will be matched with an experienced mentor who will work with you on a one-on-one basis to support your business achieve its goals and flourish.
Mentoring services will be available from July 2023 until June 2025.
The program is flexible to fit around your commitments. You can choose how often and how long you would like to meet with your mentor, including via face-to-face and virtual engagement depending on your preferences.

Round 1 of the Mentee Applications is open and will close at 11.59pm (Australian Eastern Standard Time) on Friday 2 June 2023. Further intake rounds will be advertised on this website later this year and in 2024.
