World social enterprise day 2023

16 November 2023 at 6:30 am in Baxter

A special day to raise awareness of social enterprises

Frankston Social Enterprise Hub will be showcasing some of our local social enterprises at a breakfast event at Sages Cottages Farm where there will also be a live broadcast by our local radio station RPP FM!

Come along to hear speakers from Frankston Social Enterprise Hub, local social enterprises and our hosts Wallara.

Coffee and light refreshments will be available on arrival and throughout the morning.

Full breakfast will be able to be purchased from the café menu.

Sages Cottage Farm is Wallara’s 38-acre heritage listed property on the Mornington Peninsula. It is a working farm that provides educational programs and employment pathways for people with a disability. The Farm is open to the public to enjoy the wonderful farm to plate offerings at Harvest Café, leisurely walks around the picturesque gardens and wetlands and get to know the farm animals – many that have bigger than life personalities

Frankston Social Enterprise Hub exists to grow and develop the capacity of social enterprises in the Southern Metropolitan region of Melbourne. Its mission is to create an enabling environment for organisations and individuals to start up and scale social enterprises so they can thrive and create jobs, particularly for disadvantaged job seekers.
