This is aimed at start-up businesses, and small businesses that have been in operation and who feel that they need to understand more about the planning and strategic decision making within their business because they want to grow or are worried about their viability.

Meet Your Facilitator

Ray Jopling, Business Mentor, Asuria
For almost the last 2 years I have been a small business mentor at ASURIA in Melbourne, and my motivation is to use my business and accounting expertise to help start-ups to achieve their goals and dreams by successfully running their own businesses.
I have been a member of CPA Australia for 40 years and have a current and strong skills in accounting and management, and I was manager of the Business Services department at Chisholm for nearly 10 years. Using my knowledge and skills, I enjoy assisting small businesses with all aspects of running their business including budget preparation, monitoring and variance responsibility, business growth, continuous improvement and internal control and governance processes.
I have assisted over 500 start-up businesses as either a facilitator or mentor and I have been a member of many small business networks including treasurer for Business Enterprise Centres Network Victoria (BECNV) and the Small Business Centres Victoria (SBCV).
