Learn how to share a genuine Acknowledgement of Country and work towards deeper connection to Boonwurrung Culture.
Women in Business Mornington Peninsula is teaming up with the Boonwurrung Land & Sea Council to run an introductory cultural awareness experience for its community members.
More and more business leaders are looking for guidance on how to respectfully operate with First Nations lands, waterways and skies, but finding a place to begin can be so hard and daunting that it prevents us from taking a step forward.
Business for Country is a culturally-safe space for First Nations and non-First Nations people to come together and work towards lasting reciprocal relationships.
In this session, we will spend time listening to cultural stories, grow foundational cultural awareness skills (including how to give a genuine and authentic Acknowledgement of Country), as well as create space for interactive Q&A.
Let’s work together to support the regeneration of Country, Culture and Community.
