Certificate IV in Leadership and Management for local visitor economy

Hospitality, tourism and wellness businesses on the Mornington Peninsula can now access a Certificate IV in Leadership and Management (BSB40520) delivered by Chisholm at its Rosebud Campus. The program is tailored to local industry needs and designed for real‑world, service‑driven environments.

Training is structured as one day per month on campus over one year, so staff can build skills without disrupting busy operations. Participants develop practical capabilities in communication, leadership, team management, business relationships, risk and operational planning, with a focus on customer‑focused environments.

The course covers leadership and communication, team and people management, and business operations and strategy. On successful completion, participants receive a nationally recognised Certificate IV in Leadership and Management (BSB40520).

The program is best suited to current and aspiring leaders in the hospitality, tourism and wellness sectors. Applicants must be 18 years or older, have advanced digital literacy, complete a language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) assessment before commencement, and be domestic students.

Fees are $1,050 per student, subject to meeting Victorian and Commonwealth Government subsidy eligibility (for example, visa or residency requirements). The course runs with a minimum of 10 students in a mixed‑industry cohort, combining students from multiple Mornington Peninsula businesses so single‑student enrolments are possible.
