Arthurs Seat and Sorrento were honoured with silver awards at the 2024 TAC Victorian Top Tourism Town Awards, celebrating their exceptional tourism offerings.
Last night, our state’s diverse and outstanding regional destinations were celebrated at the 2024 TAC Victorian Top Tourism Town Awards. This prestigious event recognised the exceptional tourism experiences offered by towns across Victoria.
We are thrilled to announce that Arthurs Seat has secured the silver award in the Top Tiny Tourism Town category (population under 1,500), showcasing its charm and vibrant tourism offerings. Additionally, Sorrento has proudly received the silver award in the Top Small Tourism Town category (population between 1,500 and 5,000), further highlighting the appeal of the Mornington Peninsula as a premier destination.
Congratulations to the Tourism Services team at Mornington Peninsula Shire who wrote the Arthurs Seat submission and to Sorrento Beachside Tourism for the Sorrento submission.
The awards ceremony was held at the beautiful Cleveland Estate in Macedon ranges, where 17 towns competed for the titles of Victoria’s top, small and tiny tourism towns. The evening was filled with celebration and networking to honour the achievements of our tourism towns and celebrate the vibrant tourism industry of Victoria.
Gold winners will have the opportunity to represent Victoria at the Australian Top Tourism Town Awards later this year.
